wouldn't hesitate to help. Thousands of kids in the Ozarks have serious
needs - and Care To Learn is the way you can help our kids by helping
meet physical needs and restoring the respect they should have. Mission Statement
Care To Learn provides immediate funding and
action to meet any emergent health - hunger - hygiene issue a child
might have; addressing a physical need, restoring respect, and getting
that child back in the classroom.

of Care To Learn provide matching funds and significant contributions. Without
their support, Care To Learn would have significantly less impact in addressing
the hunger, health and hygiene needs of elementary, middle and high school
students.
Through their contributions, every $1 of private donation equates to $5 of emergency need funding. 
About the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools
The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools is a non-profit organization that raises, manages, and distributes private investment to benefit students of Springfield Public Schools.
The Foundation distributes money through grants and scholarships. In 2007, the Foundation awarded 94 grants to 37 schools and programs, and over 60 scholarships to Springfield Public School students.
The Educational Disc Golf Experience (EDGE) has been developed to
provide schools and other youth programs with a sound program of
teaching disc golf fundamentals and allied skills. Contributions from
World Champion disc golfers, educators, and a recreation therapist have
injected a great variety of skills and approaches to bringing this
subject matter to life. With lessons linked to everyday classroom
topics, EDGE helps students understand the importance of math, science,
citizenship, fitness, nutrition, and environmental studies, as they
apply to disc golf. Resource materials, lesson plans, student
worksheets, and related materials are available for varying grade
levels.
